Roxanne Rossi

Roxanne Rossi's work is an extension of herself and the influences around her...her family, neighborhood, garden, and nature.  She enjoys working in monotones and letting the contrast of the textures and surfaces in the paper creat the dimensions, not the color.  The figured shapes evolved from the playful shadows created by bodies reflected in the setting sun.  The symbols carved in the clay fgures often represent her journey, relationships and the evolution of family.
